Creating a new Widget

CLI

For this we assume you already installed the Senses - Smart Mirror CLI Githubopen in new window - NPMopen in new window

Prerequisites

  1. Install Vue CLI globally. Visit the Vue CLIopen in new window for instructions.

Steps

  1. Create a new widget with:
senses widget:create

  1. The CLI will prompt for:
  • The name of the widget.
  • The folder where to create the widget (type . (dot) to provide the folder you are currently in).
  1. The result will look like this:
Create a new Widget
  1. Your widget is now created!

In the "Gui" and the "Server" folder you will find the files you will customize to display your data!
