Senses - Smart Mirror

Speech (beta)

The Speech Widget will give an indicator when the Senses - Smart Mirror is listening to your commands. The Smart Mirror is always listening to the wake word "Smart Mirror". After the wake word is mentioned the speech widget will increase the size the microphone widget to indicate that the Smart Mirror is listening.

Functionality

The Speech widget has the following functionality:

  • Show indicator when the Smart Mirror is listening.
  • Show "What Can I Say" to see a list of available commands.
  • Display the widget in the bottom of the center column.
  • Indicate if the Speech is turned off.

How to use

Add the Speech widget to the Smart Mirror through the Senses - App. See the Speech module documentation for the full configuration and how to use the full extend of the Speech module.

Configuration

The following configuration options are available for the Speech Widget.
